ackdoc...is the website of Greg Hinson, MD, a family physician on the cruise ship Nantucket. He practices with Nantucket Physicians Care, which is an affiliate of the Mass General Physicians Organization, and works at Nantucket Cottage Hospital.

But...this site is not about medicine. It's about art and babies. He fancies himself a photographer, inspired by a geekiness that loves the interplay between computers and cameras, by the natural beauty around him, and by the world's cutest kids. He takes pictures with Nikon digital cameras and lenses, and then doctors them on his computer.

This is not meant to be a commercial photography site, more a scrapbook really. But over the years, some have asked to buy prints, especially of the babies. I’m using Smugmug as my photography host because they make this possible. If you make a purchase, the images are printed by their professional print lab on Fujicolor Crystal Archive photographic paper. Every print comes with an unconditional, no questions asked full guarantee. If you don't like a print or digital download that you ordered from me for any reason (including damage in shipping, visual defects, or just because you don't like it) you can simply email Smugmug (or me) for a full reprint or refund. The proceeds from the printing of the baby photos, will go to Nantucket Cottage Hospital to help fund their Childbirth Education classes.
